We predominantly use reclaimed wood, in particular old scaffolding boards to make our furniture. Every board that comes into us is hand selected to ensure it has the right characteristics that give our furniture its unique look and build quality that it is know for.
Old scaffold boards may have splits, saw marks, dents and knots but we think that these add a level of individuality & character to the piece giving it its distinctive rustic look.
Throughout the build process we work to ensure that the rustic look of the wood is maintained and present in the finished product.
All of the wood used in our products has been responsibly sourced
Where reclaimed wood can't be used (such as our chunky shelves) we will always use responsibly sourced and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified wood from local suppliers.
